Bringing a Waterfront Destination to Life
Alto Cibum is proud to have played a central role in delivering Esplanade Live: The Street Social, a premium waterfront activation held at Melbourne’s Docklands precinct over the weekend of 13–14 June 2026.
Working alongside Development Victoria and MEE Agency, Alto Cibum coordinated the operational delivery of this community-focused event. Together, the partners celebrated Melbourne’s vibrant street food culture, live entertainment and waterfront hospitality.
A Weekend of Food, Entertainment and Community
The Street Social transformed the Esplanade Live precinct into a vibrant, family-friendly waterfront destination. Visitors enjoyed a curated lineup of Melbourne’s favourite food trucks, live DJ performances, a silent disco, outdoor sports broadcasts on a large LED screen and free face painting for younger guests.
In addition, the event was designed as a seasonal activation that encouraged visitors to spend more time by the water. It also promoted community connection and a relaxed outdoor lifestyle.
Strong Community Engagement
One of the weekend’s highlights was Sunday’s live broadcast of the FIFA World Cup Australia vs Türkiye match. As a result, the screening attracted strong crowd engagement and reinforced the precinct’s potential as an activated destination.
